美國的HarvestRight由於預設程序不適合，不能用作乾燥鲜花用；只能以中國造乾燥機進行，預冷10小時至-40度C，在負壓(1-18Pa)下缓慢升層板温度，運行48小時（因花朵偏大及厚重，需增長時間）。结果如上圖以黄色保存最佳，红色效果不佳，但於早前一次檢視美國vs中國機器及乾躁時間效果時，發覺＂無忘我＂保色效果非常好，因此這會否与花種及大小有關？將於之後更多實驗後累積進—步了解！Aim to maintain the pigments and outlook of the dry flowers, after two trials, I conclude the “HarvestRight” freeze dryer build-in default program is not suitable for flowers drying while the China freeze-dryer machine got excellent result. Recipe setting for flower is the pre-cooling setting of -40℃ for 10 hours and a negative pressure (1-18Pa). Upmost temperature is 35℃ and need 48 hours or more, depending on the size and color of the flower. Further experiment is need. No obvious color changes observed after months of storage under glassware jar.
